Classic Sangria with a kick

Sangria with BrandyThis recipe can be adjusted so easily to suit your tastes. It makes me really happy that whenever I make it, people rave. My friend Mary Ann told me it’s the best Sangria she’s ever had. It is a great drink to serve at a Paella dinner instead of multiple bottles of wine which can be expensive. The secret is both the concentrated orange (or lime)  juice and the additional liquor.

  • 1 Bottle Cheap Red Wine
  • 1/4 can Concentrated Orange or Lime Juice (or combo)
  • 1 Cup Cognac
  • 1/2 Cup Triple Sec
  • 2 Sliced Apples, Limes, Oranges
  • 1 Cup of frozen, seedless grapes (a fun touch but optional).

Mix to combine in pitcher. When ready to serve pour over ice and top with seltzer water.

easy, recipe, best sangria ever, award winning, kick ass, rave, strong, party, pitcher, cocktail, cocktails,

easy sangria kick ass simple party picnic cocktail dinner brunch

  1. Hello! I understand this is somewhat off-topic but I needed to ask.
Does running a well-established website like yours require
a massive amount work? I am completely new to running a blog but
I do write in my journal daily. I’d like to start a blog so I will be able
to share my personal experience and thoughts online. Please let
me know if you have any ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers.

    Thankyou!

  2. Thanks so much! I still have to post lots of the recipes I’ve been collecting and making. I appreciate the comments 🙂

  3. What a GREAT question! Actually WordPress is fairly easy to learn how to use. I did however ask someone to change the fonts and put the logo I did myself in about 5 minutes) at the top as I didn’t know how to do that. I like to think that any project falls under the “law of the harvest” rule. That means that nothing happens overnight. If you are discplined and say do it in lieu of watching TV or going on Facebook, say 20 minutes per night, over time you’ll have hours invested. It is hard when you have a full time job but doable! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Discovered you can substitute Orangina for the concentrated OJ and Seltzer water with great results. Still think the cognac makes it!

  6. Yes! I mentioned that in my twitter account – it is a GREAT idea! I love Orangina. I remember drinking it in Europe when I was a kid. Think I might need to buy some. It’s also fun to make it with just fresh squeezed orange juice and seltzer water – way easier than those soda machines and healthier than soda.:)
